Previously, it was revealed via Twitter user TheGhostOfHope, who has been a pretty reliable source for Call of Duty related leaks in the past, that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will receive DLC for its campaign in late 2023. This also may be a hint that Call of Duty Warzone 2 may not be offered as a standalone download, and will likely be an optional download within Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, similar to how things were with Warzone and 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
